TRC Update: Open Registration, Volunteer Request & SwimTopia App
| Good Morning Tuckahoe Families; Below you will find information about online registration (open today), request for Volunteer Coordinator Positions, and using the SwimTopia App. Registration is open for out 2020 Summer Season! Using our new registration platform, SwimTopia, families can now go online to register for the upcoming 2020 swim team season. You can access this page via https://tuckahoeswimteam.swimtopia.com or through the tuckahoe.net website under the heading "summer swim team". To begin registering, you will need to create a new user log in with swimtopia.com We have transferred all of our members' information to this new platform to make it easy for returning members to register, so once you have login credentials, Swimtopia should link your email address to all of your swimmer's information from last year. For families with swimmers who are 13 & up, please be sure to add your swimmers' email address as an alternate email so they too can receive important team-related information. Note for our returning swimmers, please be sure you do not change any registration information from last season. For instance, do not change your swimmers' name from JT Ewing to James Ewing in the system. Should you have any general questions about the team, this site will provide all of the new information for this swim season such as the schedule, volunteer requirements or other team-related issues. If you have questions that are not answered by the information on this site, please address such questions to the team reps, Colleen Hughes and Camille Flint at [email protected]. As this is the first time we have used this platform, we are ready to assist if you have any complications while registering. Todd Spignardo will be able to assist with your technical registration issues. Please feel free to contact him at [email protected] and he will try his best to respond within 24 hours. Volunteer Coordinator Positions Open Now! Please consider volunteering for an open Coordinator position: these need to be filled before the swim team season starts - and please note there are a few new options this year. The link for the sign-up genius is below. Most positions would fulfill the required 15 hours per family (there are a few that are not a full 15 hours but are marked as such). https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090c48a8ad2fa4fb6-2020 The volunteer positions for meets and social events will be made available later in the spring on the new team website. Though there is a buyout option to opt-out of volunteering, we hope you consider donating your time rather than your money. There are many ways to help the team and it is a great way to get to know our Tuckahoe family! ** New this year - at least 8 of the 15 hours required per family to volunteer will need to be spent volunteering at swim meets, which includes the Black and Gold meet. This is in an effort to ensure we have enough volunteers to fully staff the meets.** If you have questions, please contact Elaine Kelley: [email protected] |
The SwimTopia App!
We want to encourage our swim team families to consider using the SwimTopia app. Simply download this free app and log in as you could from your computer.
Through the app, you are able to see all your family's swimmers, their times and all upcoming events and meets. You may also register through the app. It is very user-friendly and is a great way to stay connected throughout the season.
For swimmers who were on the swim team in 2019, you will be able to see your swimmer's best times for each event. To do this, go into the app, select the swimmer whose times you would like to see. When that swimmer's name appears tap on swim history and “best times” will come up.
For those joining the swim team for the first time, you will begin to see your swimmers times once swimmers attend either a Monday night or a Saturday meet, as well as our Black & Gold meet.
Thank you kindly,
Christina
