Good Morning Tuckahoe Swim Team Families;

Just a reminder that we have opened registration for our 2020 Swim Team!

With Phase 2 going into effect this weekend, we are eager to get the registration completed so we will know our numbers and can effectively continue planning.

Though the season will be abbreviated, we are eager to come together to swim and to partake in some of our wonderful summer traditions!

We ask that everyone interested in joining the swim team this summer to please registers by Thursday, June 11^th. Please keep in mind that registration is not for the little tiger program; that will resume until next year. Also, note that if you are new to the swim team you will have to set-up an account. Anyone who has previous swam on the team should be able to proceed as usual.

The coaches and reps are working with pool management to figure out a lot of details that have never really been considered until this extraordinary moment - simply, we do not have all the answers and will need to make adjustments as we go to guarantee the health and safety of our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families.

We will create a rotation system to provide an equitable amount of practice time and coaching for all of our athletes that are interested in being a part of the team.

On day 1, we will conduct swim tests to ensure all athletes 10-under can swim 50 meters unassisted - we will be sending out details for how we will run swim tests closer to our start.

The cost to register will be $60 which will cover the 6 weeks of our abbreviated swim team season. The $60 is a flat rate that comes down to $10.00 per week with the season starting on 6/15 and going until Aug 1.
