Good Afternoon Tuckahoe Families;

Below is a plea for more volunteers and information regarding our intra-squad meet tomorrow at Tuckahoe including the heat sheet.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!!!

Thank you to those parents that signed up to volunteer for the meet. We are still in need of Volunteers and desperate need of Timers, Recorders, and Clerk of Course.

This meet cannot run without the help of parents.

For parents that have already volunteered below are the times listed to show up for briefings and the job descriptions. As you see we are struggling with filling jobs. If you are willing to work the entire meet we would be extremely grateful. Email us at [email protected] if you are available. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Briefing - 8:00 - parking lot by tents

Head Clerk of Course - Bert English

1st shift - Three volunteers (1 per tent) Kayleen Gloor - need 2 more

2nd shift - Three Volunteers (1 per tent) Kory Brown, Jair Rodriguez - need 1 more

Description - There will be 3 Clerk of Course volunteers in the parking lot and 1 Head Clerk of Course to ensure the team is practicing social distancing. ***Remember masks are to be worn at all times.***
Swimmers will line up under the tents in the parking lot based on their heat assignments. There will be 3 tents in the parking lot that will be designated for the next three heats that are upcoming. There will be one tent per heat. As swimmers are called for their heat the swimmers will move up to the next tent.

For example, swimmers under tent 2 will move up to tent 1, and so on. Parents will need to walk their swimmer on to the pool deck when their heat is called and will be required to collect all their personal items and mask.

Heat Sheet for Meet

Please find attached the heat sheet for our meet tomorrow which you may wish to print out as we will not be selling these.

You will notice that the meet will run standard to “A” meet list of events minus relays.

Age Group Note: in order to run the meet more efficiently the 13-14 boys have been swam-up and seeded in with the 15-18 boys so there are no entries in the 13-14 boys heats they are in with the 15-18 boys.

Also, our meet will be available on Meet Mobile which we are hoping to run live results during the meet tomorrow as we go. For those of you that are not familiar with Meet Mobile please see attached information about sign-up for the app.

Reminder: Warm-up Schedule & Protocol

8 & Unders - 7:00 - 7:15am

9-10s - 7:20 - 7:35am

11-12s - 7:40 - 7:55am

13 &Ups - 8:00 - 8:20am

• Please arrive 10 minutes before your warmup time

• Please park by the summer bathhouse as Clerk of Course will be in the parking lot closest to the pump house entrance

• Five minutes before your swimmers warmup time, walk them to the pump house entrance area (same routine as morning practice)

• Please remember to bring sweatshirts or other clothing to keep swimmers warm when in the car between their events. Also, bring water bottles and snacks for your swimmers so they can stay hydrated throughout the meet.

• After swimmers finish their warmup, they will exit the pool deck. Please meet them by the exit gate and walk them safely back to your cars.

• The meet entry information (psych sheet) will be sent out tomorrow. This information will help you track your swimmer's events and heat number so that you know when to get them to Clerk of Course. Meet results will be on the Meet Mobile app and posted to Swimtopia later on Saturday.

• As always, masks must be worn at all times (except when swimming), and please practice social distancing!
