Hello Tuckahoe Families,

A huge bravo and congratulations on a successful Black & Gold meet for all involved! From our awesome army of swimmers to our many volunteers and officials, and our amazing coaches—it takes a lot to run a meet and we are so appreciative of everyone who helped! We saw some parents just step in and help where they saw a need, and that is just the best! Thank you everyone!

Our Morning Practices Begin Tomorrow!

From Monday, June 14th to Tuesday, July 20th the practice schedule is as follows:

7:00 - 7:45 am - make ups for 9 & Over only

7:45 – 8:45 am 9 - 10
8:45 – 9:45 am 8 & Under
9:45 – 11:00 am 11 - 12, 13&Over

Little Tigers
8:30 - 9:10 am - 1st Session
9:15 - 9:55 am - 2nd Session

Friday Practices & Fun Friday Activities

Practices:
7:45 - 8:45 am - 9-10
8:45 - 9:30 am - 8 & Under
10:00 - 11:00 am - 11-12 & 13 & Older

* Please note that all Fun Friday activities for 12 & Unders are planned and implemented by PARENT volunteers. Coaches will be coaching and will not be running the activities.

Fun Fridays - please sign your child up using the sign up genius link below. This will help us get a better head count to be sure we have enough help and snacks (allergen free). Start date is June 18 and will take place weekly through July 16.

Schedule for Fun Fridays:
9:30-10am : Whirlpool and Team cheers
10-11am: Little Tiger group and 10 and under group
11-12pm: Ages 11-12 group

Saturday, June 19^th – 1^st Meet against Donaldson Run at Tuckahoe

The coaches will select the top three swimmers for each event in every age group. If your child is selected, you will receive confirmation on Wednesday. If selected and unable to attend, you need to email the reps asap so that the coaches can fill that space. This is a scored meet and we need 100% commitment if selected. More information will be sent out on Wednesday.

Tuckahoe Ball Availability - As we plan for the season we need to know if your family will be attending the Tuckahoe Ball at the end of the season (July 24th). Our team is very large and only a few venues are able to host this event. Please complete this Google form asap. Tuckahoe Ball Availability

Finally, please remember that all unvaccinated swimmers need to wear a mask when not swimming. The reps and coaches are not able to police everyone when in the team area during a meet or even after practice. We have a jampacked season and we need to continue to be vigilant. Going forward there will be a basket to place masks(in plastic baggie) at the start of a race and will be brought down to the swimmers at the finish.
