Hello Tuckahoe Families,

There is NO 7AM MAKEUP PRACTICE TOMRROW, Monday, July 5th. All other practices tomorrow are on tomorrow as usual.

We will be doing 25 meter time trials at practice tomorrow for 9-10's and 11-12's in order to help make decisions for Divisional Relay Carnival Wednesday night.

Coach Torey promised the 10 & Unders that if they scored a certain amount of points against Chesterbrook yesterday that he would give them an ice-cream party. The team reps agreed to the celebration but decided that trying to squirt chocolate out of the water cannon may not be the best idea. BUT we will be having Rita's Italian Ice arriving at Tuckahoe at 10am for our swimmers! We are so proud of our team and the amazing victory against Chesterbrook yesterday! 

JULY 5TH MONDAY NIGHT INTER-SQUAD MEET AT TUCKAHOE:

Coaches are putting swimmers into events tomorrow night in order to make decisions about swimmers for Divisional Relays and for our dual meet against Overlee this Saturday.  

The schedule for the meet tomorrow night is:

5:20pm - 10&Under warmup

5:40pm - !!&Up warmup

6:00pm - Meet begins

PANCAKE BREAKFAST:

Thursday, July 8th - Pancake Breakfast at the lower snack bar, 8am-11am for all swimmers to enjoy after their practice that morning. 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Volunteers needed for Pancake Breakfast and Awards Coordination please! 

1. Pancake Breakfast is this Thursday July 9th, and we need volunteers to help make this a success. Please use the link below to sign up. 

2. We still need 1-2 parents to help coordinate purchasing and organizing our end of year swimmers awards/trophies. Perfect role for parents with less flexible schedules that can perform this role when it fits with your schedule. However, we do need the awards coordinator(s) to be able to pick up the trophies a few days before the TRC ball and deliver them to the Ball location during set up (around 3pm on July 24th), as well as help arrange them for the coaches to give out to swimmers. A stress-free way to fully satisfy the 15 hour volunteer requirement, and we will help you with each step of the process - if questions please contact Elaine [email protected]
