Dear Tuckahoe Families; 

Tomorrow evening is our annual Tuckahoe Swim Team Ball; and what a year to celebrate! 

Please find details and information below regarding the evening. 

Where:

7900 Westpark Drive, Mclean VA (Atrium Level).

Parking:

There will be free parking in the garage to the left of the building. After you park here, you will enter the building by Bourbon Coffee. The Atrium is this level.

We will begin at 5:00 pm; so come dressed up and ready for a night of celebration.

• Kids dinner will be served from 5:00-5:45
• Awards and Slide Show from 5:45 to 7:45
• Music & Dancing; plus the Photo Booth...to start by 8:00!
• For those 12 and under, the Ball will go until 10:00 pm. However, those 13 & older are encouraged to stay and enjoy an additional hour among their peers

18 & Under Swimmers: Food & Beverage & Desserts:

• Dinner will be catered by Chick-Fil-A and will include chicken tenders, macaroni & cheese, salads, fruit, and biscuits.
• Beverage Bar with water and sodas will be staffed and available all evening.
• We will have delicious cupcakes for dessert after the slideshow.

19 & Up (aka Parents, Coaches, Alumni): Food & Beverages & Drink Tickets:

Parents, please bring something yummy to share: appetizers, snacks, desserts - whatever you are famous for! We will provide utensils, napkins, and plates for you to enjoy the incredible assortment of goodies brought by your fellow members.

Due to the facilities' rules, you may not bring your own alcohol (NO BYOB). However, we will have two bartenders set up in the atrium all evening. The bar will be well-stocked with a great selection of beers, wine, and hard seltzers.

NOTE: Bartenders will only accept drink tickets. 1 Ticket = 1 Beer, Wine, or Hard Seltzer.

Sodas and waters will be available at no cost.

Drink tickets will be available for sale next to the check-in desk (payment by credit card is preferred):

All drink tickets are $5.00 each.

RAFFLE - NEW THIS YEAR

Raffle Tickets will be sold for $10.00 each, payment by credit card preferred.

Proceeds will go to The Ben Gieseman Memorial Award and Scholarship was founded for his love, dedication, and support of the Tuckahoe Swim Team and Community. The award recognizes graduating seniors who have exemplified the Tuckahoe Swim Team experience through the core pillars of Leadership, Sportsmanship, and Commitment. The Tuckahoe Swim Team will also award these individuals with a scholarship to thank them for the impact they have had on our team and help them continue to be impactful in their next endeavors.

At 9 pm we will draw the winner who will receive an Apple AirPod Pro.

Volunteers still Needed:

If you are attending the Ball we ask you to please volunteer for some aspect of the Ball (even if you have all your hours in; or opted out with a payment).

Final Note

Parents please also remember to speak to your children about their conduct at the ball. There should be no running or horsing around the building; no one is permitted outside at any time, and decorations should not be torn down.
