Good Afternoon Little Tigers Parents,

I hope you had a great weekend. I want to start off by reminding you that there is no Little Tigers practice tomorrow as it is July 4th. Enjoy your holiday and we will see you Tuesday! On another note, this upcoming Sunday is our annual Little Tigers Meet with Highlands. We have been preparing all season for this meet and the coaches and I are super excited!

Please read through these important details for the meet:

• The meet is at Highlands and the address is 1515 Bryan Branch Road, Mclean VA 22101
• Please sign up through the link pasted below indicating whether your child/children will be there. Even if your child will not be there, please indicate that as well.

• For those who sign up to participate in the meet, your swimmer will automatically be entered in both freestyle and backstroke. There will be coaches who are available to be in the water to assist if needed.
• For those who need volunteer hours, Tuckahoe needs to bring 9 volunteer timers and 1 volunteer clerk of course. We also would like to have 2-3 volunteers to bring our tents and set them up and another 2 to bring waters and cut fruit. I have made another sign up for this. These volunteer positions will count as the full 5 hours that are required.

• For those attending the meet, I would like you to arrive by 12:30 so we can get everyone settled and ready for warmups at 12:45. The meet will begin at 1pm.
• We would like all swimmers to arrive with a black suit (if they have one), a good pair of goggles, and a Tuckahoe cap. If you did not get your team cap, I can provide you with one.
• The meet will be held in the upper pool of Highlands which is where we will meet at 12:30. The lower pools are for Highlands members only and Tuckahoe families can NOT use them.
• For parking: there should be spaces available in the gravel parking lot in front of the pools entrance. If there are no available spaces, drivers can start back up at the entrance and pull in, front first on the right side(creek side).
