Relay Practice TONIGHT – Tuesday, July 5^th

Tonight there is a relay practice for those swimming the Relay Carnival. The coaches have informed the swimmers if they are entered in the meet. (entries will be sent after the meet is merged)

6:30 - 7:00pm 10 & Under

7:00 - 7:30pm 11 & Up

Relay Carnival Meet – Wednesday, July 6^th

4:15pm – Relay practice at Tuckahoe

5:00pm – Drive to Overlee (drop off your swimmer then park)

5:25pm – Warm-up at Overlee
6:30pm – Meet Starts

Relay Carnival Info:

Set-Up: Volunteers bringing tents for the team area and water coolers may arrive at 4:00 pm.

Entrance: Gates will open at 4:30pm. All spectators must enter through the back gate through the parking lot.

Swimmer Drop-Off

Swimmers should be dropped off at the front entrance and walk through the bathhouse to their designated team areas. Parking marshals will direct traffic in the parking lot and at swimmer drop-off.

Parking

All parking will be street parking in the neighborhood surrounding Overlee and in the neighborhood across Langston Blvd. from Overlee. An off-duty Arlington County police officer will be stationed at Langston Blvd. and John Marshall Dr. to allow pedestrians to safely cross Langston Blvd.

Inclement Weather

All spectators, swimmers and assistant coaches shall go immediately to their cars. Parents are responsible for designating a meeting spot and/or coordinating with cell phones to facilitate quick and safe passage of swimmers to their cars.

All meet workers including Officials, Timers, Data Workers, Marshals, Clerk of Course, Team Reps, Head Coaches and Division Coordinator shall go immediately to the clubhouse. Any person not working at the meet will go to a car.

Warm Down Pool

The lap pool will be available as needed for warm-up and warm-down during the meet provided a coach is present at all times. We have been designated lane 6.
