Everything you need to know about the 2022 Tuckahoe Swim Team Ball!
We are so excited for the Tuckahoe Swim Team Ball! Please read all of the details below carefully and be sure to register to attend in advance. Additionally, note that there are a few things we are doing differently this year in order to bring you the best Ball ever!

- -We have a theme! “All that Glitters is Gold!”
- -No potluck or BYOB for the parents—the venue will be catering dinner for kids and adults, and there will be a cash bar (accepting both cash and credit cards).

There is plenty of parking to the left of the Columbus Club – we will be in the main ballroom in this building.
Who can attend?
The Ball is for swim team members, their parents, our coaches, and of course, our Alumni. Due to the very large size of our team, siblings who are not members of the team (yet!) unfortunately cannot attend.
Registration and payment required in advance. There will be no registrations accepted at the door.
ALL MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY WHO ARE ATTENDING MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE.
Attire:
This year we have a theme – “All that Glitters is Gold!”. So please come dressed to impress in your finest gold and glitter!
Schedule:
5:00 pm - Ball begins with music, games, prizes and a photobooth!
6:00 pm - Dinner
7:00 pm Awards Ceremony and Slideshow
8:00 pm Dessert and Dance Party with DJ Pat!
10:00 pm – Event ends
Cost:
$15 per person with a MAX of $75 for family of five or more.
This means everyone attending pays a fee, not just the swimmers.
Payment must be made on our online registration form, no later than July 15. There will be no registration and no payments taken at the door.
Swimmers Food & Beverage:
Kids dinner buffet will include penne pasta and cheese tortellini with either marinara or alfredo sauce, chicken and meatballs, salad, and lemonade.
Dessert is the ONLY thing the venue will not be providing so we are asking for volunteers to bring dessert on our Volunteer FormHERE.
Parents Food & Beverage:
Parents dinner will include a wide variety of bites and nibbles for the adults. The cash bar will serve beer and wine at $7 per drink. Those wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages will be required to show ID at the bar and supplied a wrist band to wear throughout the event. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available at no cost.
Volunteers:

We kindly ask all families to sign up for at least one volunteer slot at this event. This is one of our final opportunities to complete your volunteer hours requirement and LOTS of help is needed to make this a special night for our swim team families.

The cost is $15 per person, with a maximum of $75 per family of five or more. Registration closes Friday, July 15. You must register using the link above even if you previously indicated on the survey you would like to attend. There will be no registration and no payments accepted at the door.
IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Because our swim team is so large, appropriate venues are very hard to come by. We are very fortunate to host the Tuckahoe Ball at this new venue, and we do not want to lose this privilege. Therefore, we ask parents to please speak to their children about their expected conduct at the Ball. We appreciate your help in creating a pleasant and respectful atmosphere.
