Tuckahoe Swim Team Registration Info
Registration
Tuckahoe members can register through the swim team website starting March 1st. Registration will stay open until max capacity is met. Please register by April 24th if you would like a team t-shirt included in your registration and to guarantee your swim cap order.
- New Swim Team swimmers (including Little Tigers from last year) must complete a swim test (swim 50 yards unassisted) or receive approval from coach Torey ([email protected]) before registering for swim team. Sign-up HERE for a swim test.
- If unable to pass a swim test, please register for Little Tigers.
Swim Practice
Swim Team practice starts May 9th and July 18th is the last day of full team practice. Little Tigers is May 16th – July 14th. The practice schedule can be found on our website HERE.
Equipment
Proper swimsuit (no trunks, shorts, bikinis, sleeved shirts, wet suits etc.), goggles, fins, snorkels, mesh bags, towel (if needed) should be brought to every practice. Caps are required to be worn for long hair (hair that goes past the eyes). Click HERE for equipment info.
Open House
April 23rd, 12-3pm. Meet your coaches and collect your Tuckahoe gear. Team swimsuits will be available at the open house to try-on and purchase. Caps, fins, snorkels, goggles, mesh bags and more will also be available for purchase.
Team Events
Summer swimming isn’t just swimming. There are so many fun team events. The team events calendar can be found HERE.
Volunteers
It can’t be done without YOU! Summer swim is so much more fun for everyone when you help out. There is a 15 hour per family volunteer minimum to join the swim team (5hr for Little Tiger only families). Additional information to come on volunteering opportunities.
Spirit Wear Store
You don’t want to miss out on the new Tuckahoe swag! The link to the team store will be provided on March 1st when the team store opens. The store closes May 1st, but get your orders in early to ensure they arrive in time for the season.
