Volunteers

Volunteers are a big part of the swim team! There are swim team volunteer opportunities for the swim meets and team events. All meets and events are parent-run so a lot of volunteers are needed to make the swim season a success.

Volunteer Tidbits

• Each family is required to volunteer 15 hours PER FAMILY (not per swimmer). Little Tiger only families are encouraged to volunteer 5 hours for the season.
• Sign up to volunteer on the sign up page here.
• The hours you volunteer are tracked on the team website as "points" - assigned when you sign up for roles. One point = One hour.
• To view volunteer jobs you have signed up for, go to our team website and click on your name in upper right corner, scroll down to “my account”, and click on your name, which should allow you to view your volunteer jobs.

Volunteers Needed! 

We have many open volunteer positions. Please Signup or email Elaine if interested. (Note: Saturday meet volunteer jobs have not been opened yet)

We are looking for additional volunteer help:

• Announcing Monday Meets: need 2 parents to split announcer role for Monday meets (there are 5 home meets this season). No experience needed.
• Fun Friday planning: plan and run Fun Friday events for the 10 and unders.
• Movie Day Coordinator: the event is June 21
• National Anthem performers: for all home meets (Saturdays and Mondays)- looking for children or adults to sing or play an instrument
• Stroke and Turn Officials: Love rules? This job is for you. Training provided.
• Table Jobs: (time card sorting, data entry), Official jobs (stroke and turn, etc), Clerk of Course (organizing swimmers before their races). Training provided.
