Attached is the Team Events calendar and it is also on the team website. Every Sunday we will send out an email with upcoming events. We will also post info to the team Instagram: @tuckahoeswimteam
No Practice – Monday, May 29th
Happy Memorial Day! No practice but we hope to see you at the pool.
Potluck - Friday, June 9th @6:00pm
Please bring enough to serve 8-10 people. Use plastic/metal containers and avoid using breakable dish ware like glass or ceramic. Remember to bring home your containers and utensils. There will be a Q&A at 6:00pm. No Little Tiger practice so they can attend the potluck and the 10Unders can join after their practice ends at 6:30. The team shirts and caps will be available for pickup if you have not already received yours.
Potluck Food Assignments:
- A – F: Main Dish (Pasta, BBQ, meatballs, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza)
- G - L: Side Dish (mac-n-cheese, corn on the cob, beans, rice)
- M - R: Salad (green, caesar, pasta)
- S – Z: Fruit (watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, grapes, berries)
Black & Gold Meet - Saturday, June 10th
You must complete the Meet Availability Form HERE (if you have not already) by June 1st to participate in this meet. All swimmers who complete this form and have noted they will be at the Black & Gold meet will swim. Unfortunately, Little Tigers do not swim in Black & Gold. No tech/knee skin suits allowed for this meet. Three Volunteers still needed for Clerk of Course – if interested in volunteering, please reply to this email or signup HERE.
- 7:00am – Setup Volunteers Arrive
- 7:45am – Marshalls Arrive
- 7:45am – 11&Up Warm Up
- 8:00am – 10&Under Warm Up
- 8:15am – All other Volunteers arrive
- 8:30am – Meet Starts
Parent Social - Saturday, June 10th
The evening of Black & Gold there is a parent social from 5:30-8:30pm in the Tuckahoe Pavilion. If you would like to order Café Rio for dinner, please pay HERE by Tuesday, June 6th. Please bring your own beverages. There will also be some exciting raffles which you can buy tickets via Venmo or cash. See you there!
