We are so excited for the 2023 Tuckahoe Swim Team Ball coming up July 22! Please read the details below and be sure to register by July 14.

All swim team families are cordially invited to attend the 2023 Tuckahoe Swim Team Ball

The Gold and the Beautiful

You DO NOT want to miss this VIP event! Be sure to wear your finest red-carpet attire (black and gold of course!) and be camera-ready!

Saturday, July 22, 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Venue and Parking:

Knights of Columbus Arlington

5115 Little Falls Rd, Arlington, VA 22207

There is plenty of parking to the left of the Columbus Club – we will be in the main ballroom in this building.

Who can attend?

The Ball is for swim team members (including Little Tigers), their parents, our coaches, and of course, our alumni. Due to the very large size of our team, siblings who are not members of the team (yet!) may not attend.

Schedule:

• 5:30 pm Ball begins with music, games, prizes and a photobooth!
• 6:15 pm Dinner
• 7:00 pm Awards Ceremony
• 8:15 pm Dessert and Slideshow
• 8:30 pm Dance Party with DJ Pat!
• 10:00 pm Event ends

Swimmers Food & Beverage:

There will be a dinner buffet FOR KIDS ONLY, with dessert to follow.

Parents Food & Beverage:

There will be a separate tented area outside the main ballroom FOR ADULTS ONLY DINNER. Kids are not allowed in this area for any reason. There will be a cash bar with beer, wine and hard seltzers available for purchase (cash or credit card). Those who wish to purchase alcoholic beverages must show ID at the bar and will then be given a wrist band to wear throughout the event. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available at no cost.

The cost is $30 per person with a MAX of $150 for a family of five or more.

Registration and payment are required in advance. There will be no registrations accepted at the door. Registration closes July 14.

There are still more volunteer opportunities available at the Ball! This is one of the best ways to complete your volunteer hours requirement and we need LOTS of help to make this a special night for our kids. Please sign up for a volunteer slot!

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

Because our swim team is so large, appropriate venues are getting harder and harder to come by. We are very fortunate to be able host the Tuckahoe Ball at the Knights of Columbus and we do not want to lose this privilege. Therefore, we ask that parents speak with their children in advance of the event about their expected conduct at the Ball. We appreciate your help in creating a pleasant and respectful atmosphere.
