It was great to see the energy on deck last night at our first Monday Night B.  Thank you to our 13-14 year old age group swimmers for carrying the Captain Tuckahoe banner and leading our team cheers!  While it was a long meet, the coaches gained some valuable data with great swims and personal bests up and down the roster. 

Monday B Meet [6/23/2025] - Tuckahoe Intrasquad: Coach Torey vs. Coach Zach

Registration Deadline Approaching: Register HERE for Tuckahoe's Monday Night Meet against High Point. YOU MUST REGISTER your Swimmer no later than 3pm Sunday, June 22nd in order to be able to swim in this meet. All members of the Swim Team are eligible to swim in this meet.

Swim: The meet will be swum in reverse order (Fly, Breast, Back, Free). Swimmers may choose TWO (2) strokes (FLY, BREAST, BACK, FLY). Please note that IM is not offered at this meet.  Swimmers that participate in the upcoming Saturday meet against Old Keene Mill will not be allowed to swim any event that he/she swims on Saturday. We understand selected swimmers will not find out which strokes they are swimming until Friday, you may sign up now and change strokes later in your SignUp or wait until after Friday to register for the B meet.

Little Tigers please reach out to your coach if would like to see if you are eligible to swim in a Monday night meet.

Theme: This meet will mark the return of one of our favorite past traditions.  The meet theme will be Coach Torey (Team Black) vs. Coach Zach (Team Gold) - Prepare for Battle.  Wear camouflage, fatigues, etc. and prepare to follow your team leader into our competition in the pool!  Swimmers will be separated into two teams by the coaches after registration close on Sunday.  Swimmers on Team Black should prepare to wear black caps, swimmers on Team Gold should prepare to wear yellow caps.  If you don't have the correct color caps, we'll have some for you to borrow.

Food: We are planning on having Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and nuggets as well as pizza available for purchase during the meet. The Tuckahoe Grill will also be open for business! Preordering food for purchase is always weather dependent.

Potluck - Friday, June 20th @ 6:00 PM

Please bring enough to serve 8-10 people. Use plastic/metal containers and avoid using breakable dishware like glass or ceramic. Remember to bring home your containers and utensils. By 7:30 PM all swimmers go home to get a good night's rest! 

Potluck Food Assignments [Per Last Name]:

A - F: Salad (mac-n-cheese, corn on the cob, beans, rice)

G - L: Fruit (green, Caesar, pasta)

M - R: Main Dish (watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, grapes, berries)

S - Z: Side Dish  (Pasta, BBQ, meatballs, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza)

Morning Make-Up Practices

As the team transitions to morning practices next week, we understand that some swimmers will have conflicts with camps, sports, etc. now that school is out. The coaches are offering 7 AM morning make-up practices on selected dates for those members of the Swim Team who are not able to attend practices later in the morning. Please note this does not apply to Little Tigers. Please sign up for the dates your swimmers plan to attend as we will need a minimum of five (5) swimmers to host an early morning practice.
