This is a longer update, and it includes key dates and action items as we head into the 2026 season—please take a few minutes to read through carefully and mark your calendars.

🗓️ 2026 Competition Calendar

We’re excited to share our full meet schedule for the season—and even more excited to highlight a big win for Tuckahoe this year: we have successfully recovered our home meets AND will be hosting Division 1 Divisionals back at our own pool! 🐯

This is a huge moment for our team and community, and we’re looking forward to showing up strong both in and out of the water.

• June 13, 2026 – Black & Gold Time Trials (Intrasquad @ Tuckahoe)
• June 20, 2026 – A Meet vs. Old Keene Mill (Away @ OKM)
• June 27, 2026 – A Meet vs. Oakton (Home)
• July 4, 2026 – A Meet vs. Overlee (Home)
• July 8, 2026 – Division 1 Relay Carnival (Away @ Chesterbrook)
• July 11, 2026 – A Meet vs. Highlands (Home)
• July 15, 2026 – All Star Relays (Away @ Sleepy Hollow Bath & Racquet)
• July 18, 2026 – A Meet vs. Chesterbrook (Away @ Chesterbrook)
• July 25, 2026 – NVSL Division 1 Divisionals (Home @ Tuckahoe)
• August 1, 2026 – NVSL Individual All Stars (Away @ Vienna Woods)

With the meet calendar now set, all families are required to complete the swim meet availability form:

This is critical for lineup planning and ensuring smooth meet operations throughout the season.

🙋 Volunteering (New System This Year)

Volunteer opportunities are beginning to take shape.

This year, NVSL has transitioned fully to SwimTopia, and so will we—including:

• Meet volunteer roles
• Potlucks
• Fun Fridays
• Divisionals support
• End-of-season events (including TRC Ball)

The League is still finalizing setup, and we will open volunteer sign-ups as soon as everything is ready.

📅 Key Upcoming Dates

🏡 Open House – May 2 (1:00–3:00 PM)

A great way to kick off the season:

• Meet coaches, reps, and other families
• Get excited for summer swim
• Pick up team gear (t-shirts, caps)
• Sports Fair will be on-site with gear, suits, and team logo application

🏊 First Day of Practice

• Swim Team: May 5
• Little Tigers: May 12

🍻 Parent Social – May 9 (3:30–6:30 PM)

📍 The Farm Brewery at Broad Run

Open to all parents! Come meet the seasoned families and welcome the new ones in this laid-back environment!
