One of Tuckahoeβs favorite traditions is almost here!
Weβve seen skits, cakes, and all kinds of creativity over the years, but this year we convinced the Club to let us bring back a fan favorite: the Cardboard Boat Race!
Swimmers will form teams, build their boats at home, and then launch their masterpieces on Late Nite to see who can make it across the pool before going under. Fast boats, crazy designs, and spectacular sinkings are all encouraged!
(Boat race rules are below.)
π₯π· The First Tucka-Grillers Pig Roast! π·π₯
After all that rowing, everyone will have earned some dinner.
The Tucka-Grillers will put a 58-pound whole pig on the rotisserie right after the Oakton meet, and by around 6:30 p.m., it will be ready to feast. Rain or shine, all Tuckahoe families are invited!
Bring a side dish, dessert, or something to share, and help us kick off what we hope becomes a delicious new Tuckahoe tradition.
