D1 Carnival Relay Swimmers
This Wednesday, we have one of the signature events of the NVSL season; instead of individual races, swimmers compete exclusively in relay events against the other teams in the division. Relay Carnival is one of the signature events of the NVSL season. Instead of individual races, teams compete exclusively in relays, making it one of the fastest, loudest, and most exciting meets of the summer. Success at Relay Carnival is a reflection of an entire team’s depth and strength—not just a few fast swimmers—and the winning team earns the title of Division Relay Champion.
In addition, the fastest relay teams from all divisions in each event earn a spot in the NVSL All-Star Relay, where they compete against the league’s best relays.
While only four swimmers race in each relay, every swimmer on our team has helped make these relays possible through months of practice, cheering on teammates, and pushing one another to improve. Whether you’re swimming Wednesday evening or not, you’re an important part of this team, and we’d love to see as many Tigers as possible on deck supporting our relay squads! Attached is the list of swimmers selected to represent Tuckahoe at this major milestone in the season.

Relay Carnival Swimmers Relay Practice on Tuesday
Following Tuesday’s regular practice, there will be a special relay carnival practice for all Relay Carnival swimmers at 11AM in the indoor pool. Attendance is expected for all selected swimmers, as this practice focuses on relay exchanges and team coordination.
Wednesday Practice Condensed Schedule:
Swim Team:
- 8-9AM: 10 and Under
- 9-10AM: 11 and Over
Little Tigers:
- Session 1: 8:00 AM
- Session 2: 8:30 AM
For Relay Carnival swimmers only:
- 4:00 PM: Meet at Tuckahoe
- 4:15 PM: Warm up at Tuckahoe
- 4:45 PM: Caravan to Chesterbrook
- 5:25 PM: Warmup at Chesterbrook
- 6:30 PM: Meet Starts

We are still looking for Parking Marshals.
Parking is not available at Chesterbrook Pool. Please park at St. Dunstan’s Church (on the same side of the street) or Chesterbrook Elementary School (across the street).
