Hello Tuckahoe Families,

We are officially in the busiest stretch of the season! This week and next each feature three meets, so buckle up—it’s going to be a fun ride! While tonight’s Relay Carnival promises to be fast and exciting (meet sheet attached), we’re already looking ahead to Saturday’s dual meet against Highlands. Here’s everything you need to know!

Selected Swimmers

Please see the attached list of swimmers selected for this Saturday’s Meet.

If your swimmer is NOT available to compete on Saturday, please email the Team Reps by noon tomorrow so we can notify the coaches and select an alternate.

As always, please do not tell your swimmer that they have been selected just yet. Coaches Zach and Torey will announce the lineup to the swimmers at practice on Friday, and the official meet sheet will be emailed to families after Thursday evening’s data exchange with Oakton.

Saturday Meet Timeline

• 8:00 AM – Tuckahoe Marshals In Position on Deck
• 8:00–8:20 AM – Tuckahoe Warm-up
• 8:15 AM – Table Workers and Clerk of Course Briefing
• 8:20 AM – Timer Briefing at Tuckahoe Grill Pavilion
• 8:25–8:45 AM – Visiting Team Warm-up
• 8:55 AM – National Anthem
• 9:00 AM – Event 1 Starts
  • 10-min. break before relays
  • 5-min. break before mixed age relays
• 11:00 AM – Estimated finish
• 11:05 AM – Senior Swimmers Recognition
• 11:30 AM – Parent Relay

The deadline to order is Friday, July 10th, at noon.

Each lunch is $15.00 and includes a Jersey Mike's Sub, chips, and fruit. Options include: Turkey and Provolone, Club Sub, Veggie Sub, Gluten-free or Dairy-free.

Please check in with Teri Bell at the lower Grille patio before picking up your prepaid lunch. Food will be served after the Senior Recognition, Parent Relays, and once our post-meet cleanup is complete. As always, many hands make light work, so please stick around for a few minutes to help us reset the pool before enjoying lunch together.

2026 Parent Relay 🏊🏼♂️🏊♀️🏊🏼♂️

Gather your friends for a 100m Medley Relay to be swum immediately after the Senior Recognition. The fun event is open to any Swim Team and Little Tigers parents.

The rules are simple:

• Each swimmer may swim only one leg of the relay.
• Each relay must include at least one female swimmer.
• Every team needs a creative team name!

Our announcer will call the relay teams before the race, and the kids will be the timers. Someone will start us. DQs may be observed, and the kids will make sure to let us know!
