Tuckahoe Families,

It’s hard to believe, but we’ve reached the final dual meet of the season... and what a season it’s been! Fast swims, big smiles, and Tiger pride all around. Now it all comes down to this Saturday, as we face off against Chesterbrook for all the marbles in D1. We need everyone’s Tiger energy to carry us through to a perfect season finish. Bring the cheers, wear your gold (more on that below), and help our swimmers shine in the last dual meet of the year.

Meet Timeline – Tuckahoe @ Chesterbrook

Location: 1812 Kirby Road

• 7:35 a.m. – Swimmers arrive at Tuckahoe & check in with team reps
• 7:55 a.m. – Depart for Chesterbrook (1812 Kirby Road) (note: we will enter through CB's bathhouse and not the back gate)
• 8:25 a.m. – Warmups
• 8:30 a.m. – Officials Briefing (in the upper pavilion)
• 8:40 a.m. – Timer Briefing (at the start end by lane 6)
• 8:50 a.m. – Timers in place / Check start
• 8:55 a.m. – National Anthem
• 9:00 a.m. – Meet starts with Event #1

There will be dedicated bleachers set up on one side of the pool for Tuckahoe spectator seating. Additionally, spectators may sit on the grass on the tiered ledges at the deep end of the pool. The tiered ledges will not be reserved / separated by team.

Each $23 lunch includes:

• BBQ lunch buffet with a variety of options including: pulled chicken, pulled pork, buns, BBQ wings, mac and cheese, slaw, baked beans, chicken tenders, chopped vegetable salad and fruit platter.

Friday Night Potluck – Let’s Fuel Up!

Friday, July 17th |5:30 p.m. start time (a bit earlier this week to allow for some extra 💤for our Tiger swimmers)

Let’s come together for one last team meal before our Championship meet!

Bring your dish to the Pavilion. Swimmers eat first, with our youngest Tigers getting first priority. Team Reps invite parents to help with the meet setup, then join them on the hill for some adult conversation. BYO food, snacks, and beverages (remember, no glass containers).

Please bring enough food to serve 8-10 people. Use plastic/metal containers and avoid using breakable dishware like glass or ceramic. Remember to bring home your containers and utensils. By 7:30 pm at the latest, all swimmers should go home to get a good night’s rest!

Potluck Assignments (by last name):

• A–F: Fruit (watermelon, grapes, berries, etc.)
• G-L: Main Dishes (pasta, meatballs, hot dogs, burgers, pizza)
• M-R: Side Dish (Mac-n-cheese, corn on the cob, beans, rice, etc.)
• S–Z: Salad (Green Salad, Caesar salad, pasta salad, etc.)

At 7:30 p.m., it’s time to head home for rest — early to bed, early to swim fast!

Tuckahoe Ball (July 25th, 5:30 - 10pm)

Cost is $45 per person with a maximum of $225 for a family of MORE THAN five members (not inclusive of the service charge).

Little Tiger families are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Remember that the Ball is for swim team members, their parents, our coaches, and of course, our alumni. Due to the size of our team, siblings who are not members of the team (yet!) may not attend.

Registration closes Friday July 17, 2026 at 8pm! Don’t MISS OUT on the Most Anticipated Swim Team event of the year!

We’re almost there, Tigers! Let’s finish strong and celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together.
