Tuckahoe Fam,

I hope everyone is having a restful and relaxing August! Its hard to believe that school starts for most of our swimmers either next week or the week after...we wish you all a great start to the school year! 

For those who are swimming in PVS during the school year, we'll try to follow all of our Tiger swimmers but drop us a line on what you're up to this Fall for a chance to be featured on our TRC Swim Team Instagram. Looking forward to seeing all of the great things our swimmers are doing in the pool during the upcoming PVS season.

Andre sent a note earlier this month with the link to the end-of-season survey. The Coaches and Reps are meeting next month to reflect on what worked well in 2026 and act on ways we can improve the experience for our Swim Team members in 2027. To entice you to take 5 minutes of your day to share your thoughts, we are raffling an Owala Tuckahoe-themed water bottle! Responses that include additional comments will receive three entries in the raffle!

Finally, I wanted to formally thank Andre Passos for his two years of service to the swim team as Team Rep. Andre is officially retiring from team rep duties but, don't worry, he isnt going far! Andre is still a Swim Team parent and you will see him at and around TRC...especially as he puts his Brazilian BBQ skills to use as a grill master during Summer 2027 Friday Night Meats.

With that announcement comes the official welcome of our new Team Rep, Sara Iacobucci. Sara is a Swim Team mom of 3, lover of all things Tuckahoe, and an amazing human. You will all love working with her this coming year 🖤💛 and I'm ecstatic to be working alongside her as we plan for 2027.
